Relief of the sea coasts

The hydrodynamic and lithologic conditions of the great ocean coasts forming as well as the features of abrasive and accumulative relief forming in coastal zones have been analyzed. The methods of investigations of different coast types are presented. The short history of coasts investigations is presented, the economic importance of the coastal zone has been considered, the main terms and concepts have been defined.
Recommended for the students of geographic faculties of higher education studying coastal zone.
